Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The ProMaxima P-105 Shoulder Press delivers seated overhead pressing with angled press arms, adjustable seat, textured multi-position grips, and a heavy-duty commercial steel frame — 600 lb machine weight, 42" × 44" footprint. The angled press arms are the key biomechanical specification: a vertical straight-up press path forces the wrists and elbows into a plane that can stress the shoulder joint at the bottom of the movement where the arm is at maximum external rotation. Angled press arms allow the hands to travel slightly outward and forward through the pressing arc, which matches the natural plane of shoulder abduction more closely — reducing shoulder impingement risk at the bottom of the press without sacrificing the deltoid loading through the top. Textured grips with multiple hand placement options allow the user to adjust grip width to their shoulder width and personal pressing mechanics, both of which vary meaningfully across users. The adjustable seat sets the shoulder at the correct height relative to the press arm pivot, which determines how much of the pressing arc is in the productive range and how much is above or below it.

Angled Press Arms — Natural Shoulder Plane, Reduced Impingement Risk
Angled arms allow the hands to travel outward and forward through the pressing arc — matching the natural plane of shoulder abduction rather than forcing a vertical straight-up path that stresses the shoulder at maximum external rotation at the bottom. Reduces impingement risk without sacrificing deltoid loading through the productive portion of the press.
Adjustable Seat · Multi-Position Textured Grips · 600 lb Frame
Adjustable seat positions the shoulder at the correct height relative to the press arm pivot, keeping the pressing arc in the productive range for each user's proportions. Textured multi-position grips accommodate different shoulder widths and personal pressing mechanics. 600 lb heavy-duty commercial steel frame for sustained high-volume use.
