The Precor UBK 865 Upright Bike delivers KOPS knee-over-pedal-spindle geometry, two-stage belt drive, one-handed seat adjustment on or off the bike, custom handlebars with integrated touch HR, Polar telemetry, 25 resistance levels, 20 programs, and P62 10" capacitive touchscreen — 169 lb commercial frame, 58"–78" user height, 350 lb capacity, 48"×21" footprint. The UBK 865 is the upright companion to the RBK 865 recumbent bike — sharing the same KOPS geometry, two-stage belt drive, 25 resistance levels, and P62 console — with the upright position placing the user above the pedals rather than reclined behind them. KOPS (knee-over-pedal-spindle) in the upright context functions the same way as on the recumbent: the knee tracks directly over the pedal spindle at the bottom of the stroke rather than shifting forward, which minimizes anterior knee shear force through the pedaling arc. On an upright bike the KOPS alignment is established by both seat height and fore-aft seat position — the UBK 865's one-handed seat adjustment allows users to dial in both dimensions quickly, even while seated on the bike, without dismounting for adjustment. This is meaningfully different from a standard adjustment that requires dismounting, releasing a fixed clamp, and repositioning: on a commercial floor where members have different inseam lengths and are rotating through the bike throughout the day, the ability to adjust quickly and accurately from the saddle increases the likelihood that users actually set the bike correctly rather than riding at whatever height the previous user left it. The 19" crank width and 58"–78" height accommodation cover the full range of commercial user populations without a wide-stance compromise.

P62 10" capacitive touchscreen with 20 programs including intervals, hills, heart-rate, and watt targets. Polar-compatible telemetry for precision heart rate zone training. 169 lb Precor UBK 865 commercial upright bike, 48"×21" footprint. Remanufactured.

One-Handed Seat Adjustment On or Off Bike · KOPS Geometry
One-handed adjustment from the saddle eliminates the dismount-release-reposition sequence that causes users to skip fitting the bike correctly — on a commercial floor where members rotate through with different inseam lengths throughout the day, ease of accurate adjustment directly affects how many users actually ride at the right height. KOPS alignment minimizes anterior knee shear force through the pedaling arc by positioning the knee directly over the pedal spindle at the bottom of the stroke.
Two-Stage Belt Drive · 25 Levels · Touch HR + Polar Telemetry
Two-stage belt drive smooths resistance through intermediate reduction — consistent, fluid feel across the full cadence range rather than the notchy transitions of single-stage drives. 25 resistance levels with watt-target programs enable precision power-based training alongside interval and heart-rate programs. Touch HR sensors integrated into custom handlebars; Polar-compatible telemetry for chest strap precision.
P62 10" Capacitive Touchscreen · 20 Programs · 58"–78" User Range
P62 10" capacitive touchscreen — the same console as on the RBK 865 and TRM 761 — with 20 programs covering intervals, hills, heart-rate, and watt-based targets. 58"–78" user height accommodation and 350 lb capacity cover the full commercial user population. 19" crank width and optimized saddle for natural upright pedaling position.

1. What's the difference between upright and indoor cycle bikes?

Uprights have a more upright posture and often a console; indoor cycles mimic actual bicycles with heavier flywheels.

2. How do I adjust seat and handlebar positions?

Most models offer tool-free vertical and horizontal adjustments via quick-release levers.

3. Are remanufactured upright bikes reliable?

Yes—reconditioned drive trains, pedals, and consoles ensure like-new performance.

4. What warranty applies to bikes?

New: OEM warranty; Remanufactured: Build A Gym 1 year Guarantee with extended warranties available.

5. Do you provide assembly?

Yes—add assembly at checkout or schedule with our local delivery team.
