Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Precor Experience Strength C-Line Shoulder Press delivers selectorized overhead pressing with angled press arms, adjustable seat, precision bearings, and 205 lb selectorized stack — 454 lb commercial frame, 58"×57" footprint. The C-Line Shoulder Press and the Vitality Shoulder Press share the same overall machine dimensions and frame weight, with the C-Line carrying a 205 lb stack versus the Vitality's 200 lb — the practical difference between the two is the cable routing and bearing system: the C-Line uses precision bearings and dedicated cable routing to deliver consistent resistance through the full overhead pressing arc, which is the engineering difference between an entry commercial machine and a refined commercial machine. Overhead pressing has a biomechanically more complex resistance curve than chest pressing — the shoulder is at maximum vulnerability at the bottom of the overhead press where external rotation and impingement risk are both highest, and at minimum mechanical advantage at the top where the deltoids are fully shortened. Angled press arms allow each hand to travel a path that diverges slightly outward and forward through the press arc rather than strictly vertical, which follows the natural plane of shoulder abduction and reduces the external rotation loading at the bottom of the press. The adjustable seat positions the shoulder at the correct starting height relative to the press arm pivot — too low and the press arc begins below the shoulder's productive loading range; too high and the user is pressing above neutral elbow position from the start.

Quiet, consistent performance from precision bearings and cable routing. 454 lb Precor C-Line commercial frame, 205 lb stack, 58"×57" footprint. Remanufactured.

Angled Press Arms · Adjustable Seat — Natural Shoulder Plane
Angled press arms allow the hands to travel outward and forward through the overhead arc — following the natural plane of shoulder abduction and reducing external rotation loading at the bottom of the press where impingement risk is highest. Adjustable seat positions the shoulder at the correct height relative to the press arm pivot, keeping the entire pressing arc in the productive deltoid loading range.
Precision Bearings · Cable Routing · 205 lb Stack
Precision bearings and dedicated cable routing deliver consistent resistance through the full overhead pressing arc — the engineering refinement that distinguishes the C-Line from entry commercial overhead press machines. Overhead pressing has a more complex resistance curve than chest pressing; consistent cable feel through the full arc keeps tension productive from bottom through lockout. 205 lb stack provides headroom through advanced overhead pressing loads.

1. How do I select weight on a selectorized machine?

Insert the weight pin into the desired stack hole; ensure it clicks into place before use.

2. What weight stack size should I choose?

Most base level weight stacks can accommodate even advanced lifters, but for the real weight-movers, look for the items with expansion stacks.

3. What maintenance is required?

Inspect guide rods and stack alignment monthly; wipe rods and replace worn bushings annually.

4. Is installation available?

Yes—schedule professional installation during checkout for a seamless setup.

5. What warranty covers these machines?

New units carry full OEM coverage; remanufactured units include a 12 month Build A Gym Guarantee.

30-Day Returns & Exchanges

Buy with confidence. Every Build A Gym order includes a 30-day window to return or exchange, whether you want a different size, color or configuration. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility and a 15% restocking fee applies to preference returns; warranty and damage claims carry no restocking fee.
