The Precor EFX 835 Total Body Elliptical with P30 Console delivers Converging CrossRamp® (10°–35°), moving handlebars, reversible pedal rotation, patented heel-contact low-impact motion, 20 resistance levels, integrated transport wheels, and P30 console — 338 lb commercial frame, 80"×32" footprint. This is the P30 console variant of the EFX 835 — the same CrossRamp® platform, moving handlebars, and resistance range as the P31 variant, with two features that distinguish this configuration: reversible pedal rotation and the heel-contact motion guarantee. Reversible pedal rotation allows the stride to run backward — the reverse stride engages the quadriceps in a different mechanical pattern than the forward stride, where the glutes and hamstrings are more dominant. Adding reverse rotation to a CrossRamp® elliptical means the machine can shift lower-body emphasis four ways: forward at low ramp (quad-dominant horizontal), forward at high ramp (glute-dominant incline), reverse at low ramp (quad-dominant reverse), and reverse at high ramp (posterior chain reverse incline) — each a meaningfully different lower body loading pattern from the same machine. The heel-contact low-impact motion is a specific biomechanical design guarantee: some elliptical designs allow the heel to rise off the pedal at the rear of the stride, which transfers force to the forefoot and increases Achilles tendon and calf loading. Heels staying in contact through the full pedal arc maintains a flatter foot angle that distributes load more evenly and reduces tendon stress.

Integrated transport wheels for solo repositioning. Accessory holder keeps water bottles and personal items within reach. 338 lb Precor EFX 835 commercial frame, 80"×32" footprint. Remanufactured.

Reversible Pedal Rotation · CrossRamp® 10°–35° — Four Lower Body Loading Patterns
Reverse stride shifts quad emphasis differently than the forward stride where glutes and hamstrings dominate. Combined with CrossRamp® angle, the machine produces four distinct lower-body loading patterns: forward/low ramp (horizontal quad), forward/high ramp (glute incline), reverse/low ramp (reverse quad), reverse/high ramp (posterior chain reverse incline). Moving handlebars add upper body engagement across all four patterns.
Heel-Contact Motion · 20 Resistance Levels · Transport Wheels
Patented heel-contact design keeps the heel on the pedal through the full stride arc — preventing heel lift at the rear of the stride that transfers load to the forefoot and increases Achilles tendon and calf stress. Heel contact distributes load more evenly through the foot and reduces tendon loading during long sessions. Integrated transport wheels and accessory holder for floor mobility and user convenience.

1. How do total-body ellipticals engage the upper body?

Moving handles sync with pedals to work arms, shoulders, and core.

2. What power requirements exist?

Most total-body ellipticals are self generated, while others require a standard 110 V outlet. None require a 20 amp outlet.

3. How often should I lubricate the machine?

Apply a light silicone lubricant to moving components every 6 months.

4. What financing and warranty options apply?

Same financing as all other cardio; new units carry full OEM warranty, remanufactured include Build A Gym's 1 year guarantee. Extended warranties available at checkout.

30-Day Returns & Exchanges

Buy with confidence. Every Build A Gym order includes a 30-day window to return or exchange, whether you want a different size, color or configuration.
