The Precor C-Line Leg Extension delivers selectorized quad isolation with an adjustable start position, precision pivot point, ergonomic seat and rollers, integrated weight stack, and commercial-grade C-Line construction — 575 lb commercial frame, 53"×49" footprint. The leg extension is the primary machine for isolated quadriceps training — it trains the knee extension movement in isolation from the hip, which means the glutes and hamstrings that assist with squatting and pressing movements do not contribute. This makes the leg extension the machine that produces the most concentrated quad stimulus available on a selectorized floor. The adjustable start position is the specification that distinguishes a well-engineered leg extension from a basic one: the start position determines where in the range of motion the knee joint begins the extension. A fixed start position forces every user to begin from the same knee angle regardless of limb length, flexibility, or injury history — users with tight hip flexors or limited knee flexion range cannot reach the standard start position without compensatory torso lean. Adjustable start position sets the roller contact to the user's comfortable starting angle, which means the productive extension range begins from where the user's anatomy allows rather than where the machine is fixed. The precision pivot point aligns the machine's rotational axis with the knee joint's anatomical axis — misalignment between the machine pivot and the knee pivot produces shear forces that load the patellar tendon rather than the quadriceps, which is the mechanism responsible for leg extension machines with a reputation for knee discomfort.

Ergonomically designed seat and rollers for user comfort across all resistance settings. 575 lb Precor C-Line commercial frame, 53"×49" footprint. Contact us for stack specifications. Remanufactured.

Adjustable Start Position — Extension Range Begins Where Anatomy Allows
Adjustable start position sets roller contact to the user's comfortable starting knee angle rather than a fixed machine default. Users with limited knee flexion or tight hip flexors cannot reach a fixed start position without compensatory torso lean that shifts load off the quads. Adjustable start ensures the productive extension range begins from the user's accessible angle, covering the full population from rehabilitation through advanced training.
Precision Pivot Point · Ergonomic Rollers · 575 lb C-Line Frame
Precision pivot aligns the machine's rotational axis with the knee joint's anatomical axis — misalignment between machine pivot and knee pivot produces patellar tendon shear rather than quad loading, which is the root cause of leg extension machines with a reputation for knee discomfort. Ergonomic rollers distribute contact force across the shin for comfort under load. 575 lb commercial C-Line frame for long-term stability under continuous quad training.
