Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Life Fitness Insignia Series Leg Extension provides a 100° seat-to-back-pad angle, counterbalanced articulating seat, all-seated adjustments for back pad, tibia pad, and range of motion, and a 305 lb selectorized stack — the 100° seat-to-back angle is the key quadriceps setup specification: by opening the hip angle beyond 90°, the pelvis tilts posteriorly and the rectus femoris — the quad head that crosses both hip and knee — is placed under a mild stretch before the extension begins. This increases the available contraction range of the rectus femoris through the movement and reduces hamstring flexibility as a limiting factor for users with tight posterior chains. All adjustments are accessible from the seated position without dismounting between setup changes.

Counterbalanced articulating seat adjusts at an angle for optimum positioning across user sizes. Large-diameter yellow adjustment dials with rubber grips are identifiable at a glance. QR code / NFC connects to LFconnect for exercise video, progress tracking, rep counter, and timer. 260 lb Life Fitness commercial frame, 65.7" × 41.5" footprint, 300 lb max user. Remanufactured.

Quadriceps Rectus Femoris Vastus Lateralis Vastus Medialis
Tibialis Anterior Hip Flexors

100° Seat-to-Back Angle — Full Quad Contraction, No Flexibility Limits
The 100° angle opens the hip beyond 90°, tilting the pelvis posteriorly and placing the rectus femoris under mild stretch before the extension begins — increasing its available contraction range and removing hamstring flexibility as a limiting factor for users with tight posterior chains. All adjustments (back pad, tibia pad, range of motion) are reachable from the seated position without dismounting.
Counterbalanced Articulating Seat · Large Yellow Adjustment Dials
Counterbalanced articulating seat adjusts at an angle rather than straight back, positioning the user optimally across a wide range of body sizes. Large-diameter yellow adjustment dials with rubber gripping surfaces are identifiable at a glance and operable with one hand — reducing setup friction in commercial environments where multiple users share the machine.
LFconnect QR / NFC · Rep Counter · Timer · Exercise Placard
QR code and NFC connect LFconnect app users to detailed exercise video, correct use guidance, and progress tracking. Built-in rep counter and timer help users track sets without a phone. Exercise placard clearly depicts target muscles, available adjustments, and proper movement — useful for both new users and high-turnover commercial environments.
