Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Hoist HD-3700 Chin / Dip Assist provides 14 exercise variations — 7 assisted, 7 unassisted — with Flip 'N Grip™ handles, rock-climbing grips, stow-away knee pad, and a 210 lb counterbalance stack. The counterbalance stack is the functional core of the machine: it subtracts resistance from the user's bodyweight rather than adding it, which means a heavier stack selection makes the movement easier — the opposite of standard selectorized machines. This allows users who cannot yet complete an unassisted pull-up or dip to train the movement pattern with reduced effective bodyweight, and progressively reduce stack weight over time as they build toward unassisted reps. Flip 'N Grip™ handles enable neutral-grip pull-ups and narrow-grip chin-ups from a single grip station, targeting different lat and bicep recruitment patterns without handle swaps.

Rock-climbing handles add grip and upper-body training variety. Stow-away knee pad transitions the machine between assisted and unassisted use without reconfiguration. 649 lb commercial Hoist frame, 48" × 52" footprint. Remanufactured.

210 lb Counterbalance Stack — Reduces Effective Bodyweight
The 210 lb counterbalance stack subtracts resistance from the user's bodyweight — a heavier stack selection makes the movement easier, opposite to standard selectorized machines. Users who cannot yet complete unassisted pull-ups or dips train the movement pattern with reduced effective bodyweight and progressively reduce assistance as strength improves toward unassisted performance.
Flip 'N Grip™ · Rock-Climbing Handles · 14 Variations
Flip 'N Grip™ handles enable neutral-grip pull-ups and narrow-grip chin-ups from a single grip station — targeting different lat and bicep recruitment patterns without handle swaps. Rock-climbing handles add grip-strength and upper-body training variety. 14 total variations across 7 assisted and 7 unassisted movements across pull-up, chin-up, and dip patterns.
Stow-Away Knee Pad — Assisted to Unassisted Without Reconfiguration
The adjustable knee pad supports assisted pull-up and dip movements, then stows away completely for unassisted exercises — enabling seamless transitions between assisted and unassisted training without hardware changes or reconfiguration between users or sets.
