30-Day Returns & Exchanges
Change your mind within 30 days of delivery and you can return the machine or exchange it for a different size, color or configuration.
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility and a 15% restocking fee applies to preference returns and exchanges. Freight items must go back packaged to the same standard they arrived in — we will tell you exactly what that means before anything is collected.
Anything that arrives damaged or fails under warranty is handled separately and carries no restocking fee. Full terms are in our Returns, Exchange & Refund Policy.

The Hammer Strength Upright Bench provides a compact, stable seated platform for overhead pressing, dumbbell pressing, and accessory work — high-density padding, non-slip base, and commercial-grade steel in a 72 lb lightweight frame. The upright (90°) back position is specifically used for seated overhead press and lateral raise variations where a vertical back support keeps the torso perpendicular to the floor — producing a stricter, more isolated shoulder and tricep loading pattern than a lower incline angle which allows the lower back to assist. The non-slip base keeps the bench planted on gym flooring during heavy seated pressing without shifting or sliding under load.
At 51" × 26", one of the most compact commercial upright benches available — fits easily alongside Smith machines, cable stations, and dumbbell areas. Remanufactured.

Driveway Delivery
- We palletize and protect your equipment, then ship it with a vetted freight carrier anywhere in the lower 48. The driver lowers the pallet to ground level at your curb or driveway, and moving it inside is left to you.
Inside Delivery & Assembly
- Our full-service option, available wherever we deliver. We bring your equipment into the room of your choice on the first floor, assemble it, test it, and take the packaging away with us.
Warehouse Pickup
- Prefer to handle it yourself? Collect your order from our Jarrell, TX warehouse at no cost. Weekdays by appointment, and you will need a trailer or a pickup truck. We will help you load up and get you on your way.
1. What's the difference between utility and flat benches?
Utility benches are upright typically, flat benches remain level for presses and rows.
2. How much floor space do I need?
Reserve a 4′ × 2′ area with an extra foot on each side for movement.
3. Are flat benches compatible with Smith machines?
Yes—most flat benches fit under Smith bars; verify width in product specs.
4. Do benches come with a warranty?
New benches: OEM warranty; remanufactured: 6–12 month Build A Gym Guarantee.
5. What delivery options are offered?
Ground parcel shipping for small benches; curbside freight for commercial models.

Depends on the item. New equipment typically ships unassembled and crated. Remanufactured cardio and strength typically ship fully assembled on a pallet - exceptions may apply on certain machines. 5. How long until my order ships?
Lead times vary by item and condition. Every product is marked with a "ship time" at the top of the product page.
