Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Hammer Strength Plate-Loaded ISO-Lateral Row uses independent work arms with an angled seat and chest pad — 12 lb starting resistance per arm, scaling up to 5 × 45 lb plates per arm. The chest pad braces the torso throughout the row, removing lower back involvement and keeping all pulling load on the lats, rhomboids, and upper back musculature. ISO-Lateral independent arms prevent the stronger side from compensating — each side must produce its own pulling force — exposing and correcting left-to-right strength imbalances that bilateral rowing consistently masks. The angled seat positions the user's torso at the correct angle for optimal scapular retraction and lat engagement throughout the pull.

Weight plates sold separately. 280 lb plate-loaded commercial frame, 61" × 50" footprint, 350 lb max user. Remanufactured.

ISO-Lateral Independent Arms — Imbalance Correction
Independent arms require each side of the back to produce its own pulling force — preventing the stronger side from compensating and exposing left-to-right strength imbalances that bilateral rowing consistently masks. Equally effective for training around injuries by loading each arm independently at different resistance levels.
Angled Seat & Chest Pad — Lower Back Removed
The chest pad braces the torso throughout the row, removing lower back involvement and directing all pulling load onto the back musculature. The angled seat positions the torso at the correct angle for optimal scapular retraction and lat engagement from the start of each pull.
12 lb Start · 5 × 45 lb Max Per Arm · Plates Sold Separately
12 lb starting resistance per arm accommodates users at any strength level. Maximum of 5 × 45 lb plates per arm provides substantial progressive overload capacity for advanced loading. Weight plates sold separately.
