Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Cybex VR3 Hip Abduction uses a seated position with adjustable starting positions and contoured thigh pads to isolate the hip abductors through a controlled outward arc. The adjustable start position sets the degree of adduction at the beginning of the movement, customizing range of motion for each user's hip mobility and training goal — tighter starting position for full-range work, wider start for users with limited range. Stabilizing hand grips support correct posture through the abduction without allowing the torso to compensate.

Selectorized resistance on a 435 lb commercial frame in a narrow 56" × 27" footprint — one of the slimmest hip abduction footprints available. Remanufactured.

Adjustable Start Positions — Custom ROM
Multiple starting positions set the degree of adduction at the beginning of the abduction arc — a tighter start for users who want full-range work, a wider start for those with limited hip mobility or in rehabilitation, customizing range of motion without compromising loading quality.
Contoured Thigh Pads & Stabilizing Grips
Contoured thigh pads maintain correct contact through the full abduction arc. Stabilizing hand grips support correct seated posture and prevent torso compensation from shifting load away from the hip abductors during the movement.
