The Cybex Eagle NX Back Extension uses a contoured lumbar pad with an adjustable start position — the contoured pad conforms to the lower back's natural curvature to maintain spinal alignment through the extension arc, and the adjustable start position sets the degree of flexion at the beginning of the movement to match each user's range of motion and rehabilitation requirements. A gas-spring-assisted seat adjusts smoothly between users without manual cranking.
