Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Cybex Eagle Leg Extension uses a 100° back pad angle, instinctive leg pad positioning, Dual Axis Technology™ with independent arms, and a 305 lb selectorized stack — the 100° back pad angle is the same hip-opening specification seen on the Life Fitness Insignia leg extension, and for the same reason: opening the hip angle beyond 90° posteriorly tilts the pelvis and places the rectus femoris — the quad head that crosses both hip and knee — under mild stretch before the extension begins. This increases the muscle's available contraction range and removes hamstring flexibility as a limiting factor for users who cannot achieve full seated hip flexion without discomfort. Cybex's instinctive leg pad positioning system makes the lower leg pad adjustment readable and reachable without requiring the user to dismount or reach around the frame, which is the practical commercial value of the Eagle ergonomic adjustment design.

Dual Axis Technology™ — machine-defined or user-defined extension arc, independent arms for symmetrical quad development. Variable resistance profile matches quad strength curve through the extension range. 623 lb Cybex Eagle commercial frame, 305 lb stack, 48" × 46" footprint. Remanufactured.

100° Back Pad — Rectus Femoris Pre-Stretch & Full Quad Contraction
The 100° back pad opens the hip angle beyond 90°, tilting the pelvis posteriorly and placing the rectus femoris under mild stretch before extension begins — increasing its contraction range and removing hamstring flexibility as a limiting factor. Instinctive leg pad positioning makes the lower leg pad adjustment readable and accessible without dismounting, keeping setup efficient in high-traffic commercial use.
Dual Axis Technology™ · Independent Arms · Variable Resistance
Dual Axis Technology™ offers machine-defined arc or user-defined arc for individual knee mechanics. Independent arms develop each quad according to its own strength level — preventing the stronger leg from compensating during bilateral extension sets. Variable resistance profile matches the quadriceps strength curve through the extension range for consistent loading at every point.
