The Cybex 771A Lower Body Arc Trainer with E3 Console uses the arc motion path — a movement that differs from both elliptical and stair-climbing patterns by following a curved arc that keeps the foot moving forward and upward rather than in a standard oval or step path. This reduces knee flexion under load, making the arc trainer a joint-friendlier lower body conditioning option that still delivers serious cardiovascular and muscular demand across 21 incline levels and multiple resistance settings.

The E3 Console features a 4.3" touchscreen for workout control alongside a graphical 8×15 LED profile display and numeric readouts for time, distance, calories, METs, watts, strides per minute, and heart rate with multi-color heart rate zone indicators. 14 built-in programs, integrated dual speed fan, magazine rack, water bottle holder, and dual utility tray. 404 lb commercial frame. Remanufactured.

Arc Motion Path — Reduced Knee Flexion
The arc motion keeps the foot moving forward and upward through a curved path rather than an oval or step pattern — reducing knee flexion under load for a joint-friendlier lower body conditioning option without sacrificing cardiovascular or muscular demand.
21 Incline Levels
Twenty-one incline positions shift the arc motion path to change the muscle emphasis — lower inclines for quad focus, higher inclines for glute and hamstring emphasis — providing meaningful lower body targeting variety throughout the session.
E3 Console — 4.3" Touchscreen · 14 Programs
A 4.3" touchscreen handles workout setup and control alongside an 8×15 LED profile graphic display and full numeric readouts. Fourteen programs span weight loss, cardio, shaping, strength, adaptive power, constant power, and heart rate control modes.
Multi-Color HR Zone Indicator · Dual Speed Fan
A multi-color heart rate zone indicator changes color based on current target heart rate zone — a quick visual cue during training without reading numbers. Contact and wireless heart rate monitoring both supported. Integrated dual speed fan keeps airflow comfortable through intense sessions.

1. How do total-body ellipticals engage the upper body?

Moving handles sync with pedals to work arms, shoulders, and core.

2. What power requirements exist?

Most total-body ellipticals are self generated, while others require a standard 110 V outlet. None require a 20 amp outlet.

3. How often should I lubricate the machine?

Apply a light silicone lubricant to moving components every 6 months.

4. What financing and warranty options apply?

Same financing as all other cardio; new units carry full OEM warranty, remanufactured include Build A Gym's 1 year guarantee. Extended warranties available at checkout.
