The Titan Reverse Hyperextension delivers spinal decompression and posterior chain development through a pendulum swing arc — adjustable pendulum arm, padded platform, integrated strap system, and band peg options for accommodating resistance. The reverse hyperextension movement is mechanically unique among posterior chain exercises: at the bottom of the swing, the legs hang freely below the pelvis, which creates traction on the lumbar spine — the weight of the legs gently pulls the vertebrae apart rather than compressing them. This makes the reverse hyper the only posterior chain exercise that decompresses the spine under load rather than compressing it, which is why it is used for both performance training and lumbar rehabilitation. At the top of the swing, the glutes and hamstrings contract to extend the hip, producing a powerful posterior chain training stimulus. The adjustable pendulum arm sets the swing arc length to match the user's leg length and training objectives — longer arc for greater stretch and decompression, shorter arc for more controlled strength work.

Band pegs enable accommodating resistance for variable loading through the swing arc. Integrated straps secure the ankles to the pendulum arm. Padded platform for comfort during the prone position. 250 lb heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame, 53" × 41" footprint. Remanufactured.

Spinal Decompression Arc — Only Posterior Chain Exercise That Decompresses
At the bottom of the swing the legs hang freely below the pelvis, creating traction on the lumbar spine — the weight of the legs gently pulls vertebrae apart rather than compressing them. This makes the reverse hyper the only posterior chain exercise that decompresses the spine under load, enabling simultaneous glute/hamstring training and lumbar recovery. Used by powerlifters for performance and by rehabilitation professionals for spinal health.
Adjustable Pendulum · Band Pegs · Integrated Straps
Adjustable pendulum arm sets swing arc length to match leg length and training objectives — longer arc for greater stretch and decompression, shorter for more controlled strength emphasis. Band pegs enable accommodating resistance for variable loading through the arc. Integrated strap system secures ankles to the pendulum arm for safe, consistent attachment.
