Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Technogym Element Hip Abductor delivers focused glute medius and outer thigh isolation with padded knee supports, dual foot positions, adjustable start position, and a 120 lb selectorized stack — padded knee supports are the joint-protection specification that distinguishes this machine from thigh-pad abductors: by applying resistance at the knee rather than mid-thigh, the pad reduces the lever arm between the resistance application point and the hip joint. A shorter lever arm means the same resistance at the knee produces lower hip joint torque than the same resistance applied at mid-thigh — enabling more controlled, joint-friendly loading at the hip abductor muscles. Dual foot positions accommodate users of different leg lengths without requiring the pad height to change, maintaining consistent knee position across users. The adjustable start position sets the initial leg angle before abduction begins, accommodating different hip mobility levels and training objectives.

Smooth biomechanically sound movement path. Contact us for full stack specifications. 309 lb Technogym commercial frame, 120 lb selectorized stack, 56" × 32" footprint. Remanufactured.

Padded Knee Supports — Reduced Hip Joint Torque
Resistance applied at the knee rather than mid-thigh reduces the lever arm between the resistance point and the hip joint — producing lower hip joint torque at the same resistance setting compared to thigh-pad abductors. More controlled, joint-friendly loading at the glute medius and outer thigh, making the machine suitable for rehabilitation populations alongside performance training.
Dual Foot Positions · Adjustable Start · 120 lb Stack
Dual foot positions accommodate users of different leg lengths without changing the knee pad height, maintaining consistent resistance geometry across users. Adjustable start position sets the initial leg angle to match different hip mobility levels and training objectives. 120 lb selectorized stack covers rehabilitation through progressive glute medius strength development.
