Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The StairMaster 8G Gauntlet StepMill replicates real stair climbing with a continuous revolving 8-step staircase — not a simple pedal motion. Each step is 8" high, 9" deep, and 22" wide, delivering a consistent, weight-bearing stride that loads the glutes, quads, and calves with every rep. At 24 to 162 steps per minute, the range spans casual aerobic conditioning all the way to high-intensity tactical training.

Mounted at the front is StairMaster's OpenHub™ 15" embedded touchscreen console — a full-featured display with 10 standard workout programs, Polar-compatible wireless heart rate, and three certified fitness tests including the CPAT Fire Fit Test and WFI StepMill Test. Built for commercial environments with a 350 lb user capacity and a 10 ft recommended ceiling clearance, the 8G Gauntlet is the benchmark for stair-based cardio in serious training facilities.

Glutes Quadriceps Calves
Hamstrings Hip Flexors Core

True Revolving Staircase
Eight full-depth steps (8" rise · 9" run · 22" wide) rotate continuously — simulating real stair climbing rather than approximating it. No dead zones, no pedal bounce.
OpenHub™ 15" Touchscreen Console
Embedded 15" touch display with hot-bar controls for stop, heart rate, and level adjustment. Runs 10 workout programs and supports third-party app integration via the OpenHub platform.
Certified Fitness Testing Protocols
Three built-in standardized tests — Multi-Stage Fit Test, CPAT Fire Fit Test, and WFI StepMill Test — make this the preferred machine for first responder conditioning programs and performance benchmarking.
Dual Heart Rate Monitoring
Polar-compatible wireless chest strap support plus contact hand sensors give users flexible, accurate heart rate data throughout their session. Heart Rate Zone Trainer and HR Intervals programs leverage both inputs.
Wide Speed Range — 24 to 162 SPM
A broad step-rate range accommodates rehab-pace walking through all-out HIIT intervals. Ten standard programs — including Fat Burner, Speed Intervals, Custom Intervals, and Calorie Goal — keep training structured across every fitness level.
