Product details

The SportsArt E835 Elliptical delivers manual adjustable stride 18"–25.5", 40 resistance levels, MyFlex™ pedal cushioning, self-powered operation, Polar wireless HR, 12.8" stepper height, 400 lb user capacity, dual headphone jack, and multi-program console — 270.6 lb commercial frame, 79.1"×24.4" footprint. The SportsArt E835 brings manual adjustable stride — a distinct mechanism from both fixed ellipticals and motorized variable-ramp machines. On a fixed elliptical the stride length is determined by the crank geometry and doesn't change. On motorized CrossRamp machines like the Precor EFX series the ramp angle changes and the stride length changes as a result. The SportsArt's manual adjustable stride allows the user to set stride length directly — from 18" (shorter, closer to a walking cadence) through 25.5" (longer, closer to a running cadence) — as a physical adjustment rather than an electronic ramp selection. This means the stride length can be matched to the user's natural gait length without tying it to a ramp angle, which is the training case for cyclists or shorter-stride users who want a longer resistance level without a steeper climbing angle. The 40 resistance levels is the broadest resistance range of any elliptical in the line — most commercial ellipticals offer 20–25 levels. 40 levels means the increments between levels are smaller, providing finer progression between resistance steps across the full range. MyFlex™ pedal cushioning absorbs impact at the pedal surface itself rather than only at the frame or drive system — reducing the ground-reaction force through the foot and ankle on each stride. Self-powered operation requires no outlet, allowing flexible placement.

Polar wireless HR receiver built in. Dual headphone jack with volume control. Cardio Advisor programming. 270.6 lb SportsArt E835 commercial frame, 400 lb user capacity, 79.1"×24.4" footprint. Remanufactured.

Manual Adjustable Stride 18"–25.5" — Length Independent of Ramp Angle
Manual stride adjustment sets length directly — 18" (walking cadence) through 25.5" (running cadence) — without tying the stride length to a motorized ramp angle. Users can select a long stride at low resistance without a steep climbing angle, or a short stride at high resistance without a flat ramp, which is the training case that motorized ramp-only systems cannot produce. 7.5" of total adjustable range covers walking through extended running gait.
40 Resistance Levels · MyFlex™ Pedal Cushioning · Self-Powered
40 resistance levels — the broadest range in the line — produce finer increments between steps for more precise progressive resistance across the full spectrum. MyFlex™ pedal cushioning absorbs ground-reaction force at the pedal surface itself, reducing the impact through the foot and ankle on each stride beyond what frame or drive cushioning alone provides. Self-powered for flexible placement without routing power.
Polar HR · 400 lb Capacity · 12.8" Stepper Height · Dual Headphone Jack
Built-in Polar wireless HR receiver pairs with compatible chest straps for continuous heart rate monitoring without a contact sensor. 400 lb maximum user weight is above the 350 lb standard on most commercial ellipticals. 12.8" stepper height allows step-on without a wide lateral leg lift. Dual headphone jack with volume control for simultaneous audio access on shared machines.

1. How do total-body ellipticals engage the upper body?

Moving handles sync with pedals to work arms, shoulders, and core.

2. What power requirements exist?

Most total-body ellipticals are self generated, while others require a standard 110 V outlet. None require a 20 amp outlet.

3. How often should I lubricate the machine?

Apply a light silicone lubricant to moving components every 6 months.

4. What financing and warranty options apply?

Same financing as all other cardio; new units carry full OEM warranty, remanufactured include Build A Gym's 1 year guarantee. Extended warranties available at checkout.
