The Precor Icarian 601 is a 45-degree plate-loaded linear leg press built on silky smooth linear bearings — the linear bearing system is the defining characteristic of this machine's reputation, producing a consistent, frictionless carriage movement that feels the same at 100 lb as it does at 600 lb. The 45° angle positions the press arc so that gravity assists the movement naturally at the correct degree, keeping hip and knee joint loading in proper alignment through the full press range without the shear forces of steeper or shallower angles.
A large footplate accommodates wide, narrow, and high foot placements for quad, glute, and hamstring emphasis variation. 575 lb frame, plate-loaded Olympic, 87" × 64" footprint — a more compact footprint than most 45° leg presses of comparable build quality. Remanufactured with minor cosmetic wear only; excellent mechanical condition.
