Delivery options
Your item’s shipping method and price are confirmed in the shipping calculator and at checkout. Here is what each delivery path means.
Items weighing 149 lb or less ship by ground parcel rather than freight.
Your equipment is palletized and protected. The freight carrier schedules delivery, then uses a liftgate to lower it to your curb or driveway. Moving it inside and unpacking it are up to you.
When selected and available for your address, the delivery team brings the equipment into the room, assembles and tests it, then removes the packaging.
For commercial builds and multi-pallet orders, a dedicated trailer keeps the full order together in one delivery. We confirm the unloading plan before the truck ships.
Change your mind within 30 days of delivery and you can return the machine or exchange it for a different size, color or configuration.
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility and a 15% restocking fee applies to preference returns and exchanges. Freight items must go back packaged to the same standard they arrived in — we will tell you exactly what that means before anything is collected.
Anything that arrives damaged or fails under warranty is handled separately and carries no restocking fee. Full terms are in our Returns, Exchange & Refund Policy.
Coverage and accessories have to go on the same booking as the machine. Add them here and they travel together.
Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.
The Precor Discovery Series Glute Extension delivers selectorized isolated glute training with ratcheting gas-assisted positioning, add-on weight lever, open weight tower, 11-gauge fully welded steel, and QR-coded instructional placards — 160 lb stack, 448 lb commercial frame, 53"×40" footprint. The glute extension machine trains the hip extension movement in isolation — specifically the gluteus maximus producing hip extension from a flexed starting position through full extension — without the significant hamstring, quad, and lower back contribution that occurs during squats, hip thrusts performed free, or deadlifts. Isolation of the glute through a guided extension arc allows users to load the gluteus maximus specifically and track progressive overload on that muscle group independently from the compound movements where glute contribution is difficult to measure. The ratcheting gas-assisted positioning is a more secure version of the standard gas-assisted adjustment found on the Discovery Leg Extension and Seated Row: the ratcheting mechanism locks the position at each increment rather than holding it purely by pneumatic resistance, which is particularly relevant on a glute extension machine where the starting position determines the hip flexion angle — too little hip flexion at the start means the glute isn't in the lengthened position that produces the most productive stretch-mediated loading; too much and the user can't complete the full extension arc. The add-on weight lever enables sub-increment loading — on a 160 lb stack calibrated for isolated glute training, the ability to add a small amount above any standard stack setting allows finer progression than the stack alone permits.
Open weight tower for quick selector pin access. QR-coded placards link to exercise guidance video. 448 lb Precor Discovery commercial frame, 160 lb stack, 53"×40" footprint. Remanufactured.
