Delivery options
Your item’s shipping method and price are confirmed in the shipping calculator and at checkout. Here is what each delivery path means.
Items weighing 149 lb or less ship by ground parcel rather than freight.
Your equipment is palletized and protected. The freight carrier schedules delivery, then uses a liftgate to lower it to your curb or driveway. Moving it inside and unpacking it are up to you.
When selected and available for your address, the delivery team brings the equipment into the room, assembles and tests it, then removes the packaging.
For commercial builds and multi-pallet orders, a dedicated trailer keeps the full order together in one delivery. We confirm the unloading plan before the truck ships.
Change your mind within 30 days of delivery and you can return the machine or exchange it for a different size, color or configuration.
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility and a 15% restocking fee applies to preference returns and exchanges. Freight items must go back packaged to the same standard they arrived in — we will tell you exactly what that means before anything is collected.
Anything that arrives damaged or fails under warranty is handled separately and carries no restocking fee. Full terms are in our Returns, Exchange & Refund Policy.
Coverage and accessories have to go on the same booking as the machine. Add them here and they travel together.
Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.
The Precor Discovery Series Back Extension Machine delivers selectorized isolated lumbar training with a contoured back pad, adjustable start position, integrated footplate, and precision weight stack resistance — 488 lb commercial Discovery frame, 48"×43" footprint. The selectorized back extension machine is the controlled-resistance alternative to the bodyweight Roman chair or 45° hyperextension bench: where the bodyweight versions load the erector spinae with a fixed percentage of the user's own bodyweight determined by their position on the pad, the selectorized machine applies a precisely calibrated resistance from the weight stack that is independent of the user's body weight. This makes progressive loading straightforward — add a plate increment to the stack each session — rather than requiring the user to add a weighted plate to their chest or behind their head, which introduces a secondary loading challenge and a spinal compression component that is not present when the resistance comes from a cable stack. The adjustable start position accommodates users whose lumbar flexion range varies due to flexibility, injury history, or rehabilitation stage — setting the start point to the user's comfortable beginning angle means the full effective extension arc is covered without forcing the user into a flexion depth that exceeds their safe range. The integrated footplate provides secure anchoring throughout the extension movement, preventing the hip and pelvis from lifting off the pad at the top of the extension range — a compensation that shifts load from the lumbar extensors into the glutes and hamstrings and reduces the isolation benefit.
Ergonomically contoured back pad for comfort and spinal support throughout the extension range. 488 lb Precor Discovery commercial back extension frame, 48"×43" footprint. Contact us for stack specifications. Remanufactured.
