Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Life Fitness Signature Series Pectoral Fly / Rear Deltoid delivers dual-function chest and rear shoulder isolation with independently moving arms, adjustable start positions, ergonomic seat and back pad, and selectorized resistance — the pec fly and rear deltoid movements are horizontal adduction and horizontal abduction respectively, which are the two movements that compound pressing and rowing cannot produce in isolation. Heavy pressing and rowing recruit the pectorals and rear deltoids as secondary movers but never as the primary load — a dedicated pec fly and rear delt machine is the only way to apply progressive overload specifically to horizontal adduction and abduction strength. Independently moving arms allow unilateral training for each function, which surfaces and corrects left-to-right strength imbalances that bilateral handles mask by allowing the stronger side to compensate. Adjustable start positions match the machine to different arm lengths and shoulder widths.

Independent Arms — Unilateral & Bilateral for Both Functions
Independently moving arms allow unilateral training on both the pec fly and rear deltoid functions — surfacing and correcting left-to-right imbalances that bilateral handles conceal by allowing the stronger side to compensate. Adjustable start positions accommodate different arm lengths and shoulder widths across both exercise positions.
Pec Fly & Rear Delt — Horizontal Adduction & Abduction Isolated
Pec fly (horizontal adduction) and rear deltoid (horizontal abduction) are the two movements compound pressing and rowing cannot produce in isolation — they recruit these muscles as secondaries but never as the primary load. This machine is the only way to apply direct progressive overload to horizontal adduction and abduction strength specifically, making it essential for balanced chest and rear shoulder development.
