Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Life Fitness Signature Series Lateral Raise targets the middle deltoid with pivoting handles, counter-balanced arms, adjustable seat, contoured padding, and a 190 lb selectorized stack — pivoting handles and counter-balanced arms solve the two main problems on lateral raise machines. The lateral raise arc is not a flat plane — the humerus rotates slightly as it rises — and a fixed handle fights that rotation, adding wrist and elbow torque through the lift. Pivoting handles follow the arm's natural path, keeping the load on the deltoid rather than the joint. The counter-balanced arm offsets the weight of the exercise arm itself at the start of the movement, which prevents the machine from feeling disproportionately heavy at the bottom where the lateral deltoid is in its weakest position. Without counter-balancing, the starting resistance of the arm's own weight is added to the stack weight, making low-load training impractical.

Adjustable seat fits users of all sizes. Contoured padding throughout. Powder-coated steel frame. 525 lb Life Fitness Signature commercial frame, 48" × 43" footprint. Remanufactured.

Pivoting Handles — Follows Natural Arm Rotation
The humerus rotates slightly as the arm rises during shoulder abduction — a fixed handle fights that rotation, adding wrist and elbow torque through the lift. Pivoting handles follow the arm's natural path, keeping load on the lateral deltoid rather than the joint and reducing the discomfort that accumulates over high-rep lateral raise training on fixed-handle machines.
Counter-Balanced Arms · Adj. Seat · 190 lb Stack
Counter-balanced arms offset the exercise arm's own weight at the start of the movement — preventing the machine from feeling disproportionately heavy at the bottom where the lateral deltoid is weakest. Without counter-balancing, arm weight adds to the selected stack weight, making low-load training impractical and the stack increments effectively coarser. 190 lb stack with adjustable seat for all user sizes.

3. What maintenance is required?

Inspect guide rods and stack alignment monthly; wipe rods and replace worn bushings annually.

4. Is installation available?

Yes—schedule professional installation during checkout for a seamless setup.

5. What warranty covers these machines?

New units carry full OEM coverage; remanufactured units include a 12 month Build A Gym Guarantee.
