Product details

The Jacob's Ladder is a self-powered ladder climbing machine set at a 40-degree angle that simultaneously loads the legs, core, and upper body through a natural climbing movement pattern. Because the machine is self-powered and effort-driven, the ladder moves exactly as fast as the user climbs — no preset speeds, no motor, no ceiling. The harder the athlete works, the harder the machine works back, making it inherently scalable for any fitness level and ideal for maximum-effort interval training.

A digital console tracks elapsed time, feet climbed, climbing rate, calories burned, and heart rate when paired with a compatible chest strap. No outlet required, compact 76" × 31.25" footprint, 325 lb frame. 7.5 ft minimum ceiling height required. Remanufactured.

Latissimus Dorsi Quadriceps Glutes Shoulders Core

Self-Powered — Effort-Based Speed Control
The ladder moves as fast as the user climbs — no motor, no preset speeds. The harder the athlete works, the greater the demand, making it naturally scalable from recovery-pace climbing through maximum-effort HIIT intervals without any adjustment.
40° Climbing Angle — Full-Body Engagement
The 40-degree angle positions the body for simultaneous leg drive, core stabilization, and upper body pulling — engaging more total muscle mass per rep than standard cardio machines and delivering a higher cardiovascular and muscular demand per unit of time.
Digital Console — Time, Feet, Rate, Calories, HR
The built-in digital console tracks elapsed time, feet climbed, climbing rate, calories burned, and heart rate with a compatible chest strap — comprehensive performance feedback for interval programming, endurance benchmarking, and conditioning monitoring.

1. What's the primary benefit of a step mill vs. a stepper?

Step mills provide a continuously rotating staircase for higher intensity; steppers offer a simpler stepping motion.

2. How do I maintain the belt or steps?

Clean steps monthly; inspect and tighten step chain once a year. Preventative maintenance is recommended to extend lifespan.

3. Can these machines be financed?

Yes—0% APR financing via Shop Pay is available at checkout.

4. What space do I need?

Allocate 6′ × 3′ floor space plus 2′ clearance on all sides.

5. What delivery options are available?

Nationwide curbside freight delivery, or Inside Delivery & Assembly if you want it set up for you. Both prices show in the shipping calculator and at checkout.
