Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Hammer Strength Lying Rear Deltoid Fly uses a prone face-down position on a 5° declined chest pad that eliminates handle gripping entirely — the arms rest directly against the movement pads rather than gripping anything, removing forearm and bicep involvement from the exercise completely. With the torso braced against the chest pad, there is no opportunity for body English, momentum, or trap substitution — the rear deltoids carry the full load of every rep through the horizontal abduction arc.

Iso-Lateral arms allow each side to work independently, preventing the stronger shoulder from compensating. Starting resistance of just 1 lb makes this machine accessible for rehabilitation and early-stage shoulder development alongside serious athletic training. Plate-loaded for unlimited progressive overload. 295 lb commercial frame. Remanufactured.

Rear Deltoids Infraspinatus Teres Minor
Rhomboids Trapezius — Middle Posterior Rotator Cuff

Prone Position — No Grip Required
The face-down prone position on a 5° declined chest pad eliminates handle gripping — arms rest directly against the movement pads, removing forearm and bicep involvement entirely and keeping every rep's load on the rear delts with no compensation pathway available.
Iso-Lateral Independent Arms
Each arm operates on its own independent plate-loaded lever — preventing bilateral compensation and ensuring each rear deltoid develops independently, correcting left-right imbalances that compound rear delt exercises tend to allow the stronger side to mask.
1 lb Starting Resistance — Plate Loaded
A 1 lb starting resistance accommodates rehabilitation work and early-stage shoulder development alongside heavy athletic training. Plate loading removes any ceiling on progressive overload for long-term rear deltoid strength development.
