The FreeMotion 11.9 Incline Trainer is built around a -3% decline to 30% incline range backed by a 1,500 lb lift motor — standard treadmills top out at 15%, and the difference at 30% grade is substantial. Quad and glute recruitment at that incline is meaningfully higher than walking or running on a flat belt or a standard incline treadmill, and the -3% decline adds the downhill mechanics that flat treadmills entirely omit. A 5.0 HP continuous-duty AC commercial motor drives the belt reliably through sustained high-grade use.
A 10" HD capacitive touchscreen supports iFIT-connected training with coach-led workouts — residential use requires a paid iFIT membership; qualifying commercial facilities may be eligible for access without recurring fees after account registration. 1-STEP™ controls allow instant speed, incline, and decline adjustments from the console without navigating menus, and in-handle controls keep speed and incline accessible without releasing the handlebars mid-stride.
