The Cybex VR2 Arm Extension uses ergonomically angled handles with an adjustable seat to isolate the triceps through a seated elbow extension — the angled handles orient the wrists and elbows for the natural elbow extension arc, and the adjustable seat positions each user so the elbow pivot aligns correctly with the machine's rotation axis. Proper elbow axis alignment is the key fit variable on tricep extension machines: misalignment shifts stress to the elbow joint rather than the tricep muscle belly.
