The Cybex Eagle Chest Press is built around Dual Axis Technology — a user-selectable choice between a fixed machine-guided pressing path or a free, user-defined movement path on the same machine. The fixed path keeps the press on a precise, repeatable arc for strict chest loading; the free path allows the wrists and elbows to move naturally for users who want a more dumbbell-like feel. The converging motion guides the arms forward and inward through the press, mirroring the natural biomechanical arc of horizontal chest adduction.

Independent arm movement lets each side work on its own — preventing bilateral compensation and supporting training around imbalances. An adjustable back pad positions users correctly for consistent mechanics, and consistent torque throughout the movement keeps resistance smooth from the starting position through full extension. 305 lb selectorized stack, 671 lb commercial frame. Remanufactured.

Dual Axis Technology — Fixed or User-Defined Path
Users select between a fixed machine-guided press path for strict, repeatable chest loading, or a free user-defined path that allows natural wrist and elbow movement for a more dumbbell-like press feel — two distinct training modalities from the same machine.
Converging Press Motion
The converging motion guides the arms forward and inward through the press — mirroring the natural horizontal adduction arc of the chest rather than pressing straight forward, producing more complete pectoral activation through the full range of motion.
Independent Arm Movement
Each arm works independently on its own resistance path — preventing the stronger side from taking over bilateral pressing and allowing users to train around shoulder or chest imbalances without switching to a different machine.
Adjustable Back Pad · Consistent Torque
An adjustable back pad positions users correctly for proper shoulder alignment and a safe, controlled range of motion. Consistent torque throughout the press keeps resistance smooth and effective from the starting position through full extension without resistance drop-off.
