Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Cybex Bent Leg Abdominal Board is designed specifically for bent-leg ab work — a position that reduces hip flexor involvement and lower back strain compared to straight-leg sit-ups. When the knees are bent, the psoas muscle (the primary hip flexor) is mechanically shortened and less able to dominate the sit-up motion, shifting more of the load onto the rectus abdominis. This makes bent-leg sit-ups and crunches a more effective and spine-friendly ab training option for most users.

Padded cushioning supports the back through high-rep core sets, and a non-slip surface keeps the board stable under load. 130 lb sturdy frame, 61" × 23" footprint. Remanufactured.

Bent-Leg Design — Hip Flexor Reduction
The bent-leg position mechanically shortens the psoas, reducing its ability to dominate the sit-up motion and shifting more load onto the rectus abdominis. Bent-leg ab work also reduces lower back strain compared to straight-leg variations, making it a more effective and safer option for most users.
Padded Cushioning · Non-Slip Surface · Sturdy Frame
Padded cushioning supports the back and tailbone through high-rep core sets. The non-slip surface keeps the board stable and the user anchored under load. A sturdy 130 lb frame provides the stability needed for sustained ab training in both home and commercial environments.
