The BUILT Strength OG Series Seated Vertical Mid Row supports both seated and standing rowing positions from the same machine — the seated position braces the torso against the adjustable angled chest pad for strict back isolation, while the standing position introduces greater trunk and core engagement for a more functional pulling pattern. Athletes can select the position that suits their training goal or alternate between both depending on the session.

Rotating handles allow the wrists to move naturally through the full pulling arc — reducing forearm and wrist tension and promoting greater lat, trap, and rhomboid activation through a more natural grip orientation. Starting at 10 lb per arm with plate-loaded resistance for unlimited progressive back development. New.

Seated or Standing Position
Seated rowing against the chest pad delivers strict back isolation with the torso supported; standing rowing adds trunk stabilizer and core engagement to the pulling pattern — two distinct training stimuli from the same station.
Rotating Handles — Natural Wrist Movement
Rotating handles allow the wrists to supinate naturally through the pull — reducing forearm and wrist tension and letting the lats, traps, and rhomboids take full load through the complete pulling arc without grip interference.
Adjustable Angled Chest Pad
The angled chest pad adjusts to brace the torso correctly for each user's body proportions — removing lower back involvement during seated rows and keeping all load on the target back muscles throughout the movement.
Plate-Loaded — 10 lb Per Arm Start
A 10 lb per arm starting weight covers warm-up and technique work, with plate loading providing unlimited progressive overload for serious back development — no stack ceiling limiting long-term lat, trap, and rhomboid strength gains.
